Jan Filipe Lehmann Posted August 17, 2020 at 12:00 PM Posted August 17, 2020 at 12:00 PM Anyone know how to get vPilot working with MSFS. I installed the latest version, but when I run it, it says "No supported flight simulators were detected! Please ensure you have FSX or Prepared3D installed correctly. vPilot will now exit." Ross Carlson Posted August 17, 2020 at 12:31 PM Posted August 17, 2020 at 12:31 PM (edited) Hi Jan Filipe, have a look at the FAQ here: Most notably, the last question. It discusses when you can expect MSFS support in vPilot. Craighton Miller Posted August 17, 2020 at 01:50 PM Posted August 17, 2020 at 01:50 PM Microsoft Flight Simulator is not due out until the 18th, the developer (who just responded) is US based and it is still the 17th as of the time I post this. Andreas Stangenes Posted August 17, 2020 at 05:33 PM Posted August 17, 2020 at 05:33 PM Vpilot was working for me and connected me in msfs, BUT the framerates when connected where HORRIBLE! Absolutely unflyable.
Andreas Fuchs Posted August 17, 2020 at 05:45 PM Posted August 17, 2020 at 05:45 PM (edited) Maybe you can write this in a more factual way? How many FPS do you have before and after connecting? Please don't forget that Ross is donating his freetime to update and maintain vPilot, so a bit more respectful language would be appropriate. Ross Carlson Posted September 14, 2020 at 06:14 PM Posted September 14, 2020 at 06:14 PM As the error message says, you need to set a valid default model. "A320" is not a model. That's an aircraft type code. Please review the documentation to learn what the default model is. In the meantime, change it back to the default default model, which is "Generic Airliner Twin Engines Asobo 00".
