Bruno Lindenblatt Posted November 11, 2006 at 01:34 AM Posted November 11, 2006 at 01:34 AM Well for one I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with your system. And for two i would try re-installing the Sim... And could you make a more detailed spec sheet of your system...

I've never had any problem running anything eles on it, but heres a semi-better system spec. Matthew Wilson 987467 Posted November 11, 2006 at 01:59 PM Posted November 11, 2006 at 01:59 PM Dude chk out this thread. http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?t=13256 Heres a list of things i had to do to get my FS to stop freezing. 1. Disable UpnP on my router. 2. Run the winsocks fix in the thread above. 3. Disable UpnP in the windows services screen (thats also in the link above - posted by me) And last but net least . . 4. Click start, click run and type 'regsvr32 /u mclsp.dll' (without quotes) to disable a MCafee adware blocker that halted my system. (i think you only need to do this if you have Mcafee) I just started using Squawkbox last sunday and i was having the same problem, random halts where i could still hear ATC traffic but FS stopped responding. Very frustrating. If you have any questions about how to do this stuff about how to do this stuff let me know. I actually had to call my router company to find out if UpnP was disabled. Good luck.
