Will Thomas Posted September 6, 2020 at 01:18 AM Posted September 6, 2020 at 01:18 AM I'm not sure what happened, but vPilot was working fine on the latest release then stopped. When I open it now I receive a .NET Framework error. I closed it, then it wouldn't start at all. Restarted the PC and the same thing happened. Uninstalled vPilot and reinstalled with a previous version (2.6.3) and the same result. It seems no version works. I don't have the exact error because it won't start now. If needed I can take a screen shot the next time I restart and post here. Is anyone else having this issue? Or know of a solution? Ross Carlson Posted September 6, 2020 at 01:19 AM Posted September 6, 2020 at 01:19 AM A screenshot would be good. If there is no error on the screenshot, take a look in the Windows Event Viewer. Will Thomas Posted September 6, 2020 at 11:16 AM Author Posted September 6, 2020 at 11:16 AM (edited) I also did a Windows Update this morning and.NET was a part of that. Restarted the PC twice but still the same error. (See attached screenshot). I could also send you the log file "Details" if you need it. Ross Carlson Posted September 6, 2020 at 06:02 PM Posted September 6, 2020 at 06:02 PM That's an AFV error. I'll move your thread to that forum. Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
Nestor Perez Posted September 6, 2020 at 06:47 PM Posted September 6, 2020 at 06:47 PM Hiya! Does vPilot have access to use your microphone device in your system's settings? Me.
Will Thomas Posted September 7, 2020 at 01:15 AM Author Posted September 7, 2020 at 01:15 AM Nestor, thanks for the suggestion. I will look at that. And what is the AFV Forum? Will Thomas Chief Captain Fly Virtual
Will Thomas Posted September 7, 2020 at 01:40 AM Author Posted September 7, 2020 at 01:40 AM Thanks, Nestor! It was the microphone setting in Windows 10 that was causing the problem. Good catch 👍 Will Thomas Chief Captain Fly Virtual
