Hi,

when trying to download the latest version of vPilot from the website, both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge block the download, claiming that the download is not safe and might contain malicious code.

Has the website been compromised, or why is this happening? Can you provide e.g. an MD5 hash of the original file to verify its integrity?

I believe this is because I started including the SimConnect.dll file with the installer. (This was done because MSFS does not install the SimConnect.dll on your system when you install the sim.)

I know that at least Chrome and Kaspersky flag it as a trojan. Is that what is happening for you?

I am going to make a change where the client downloads the SimConnect.dll on first run, rather than including it with the installer.

Timm, could you please give this file a try? This installer does not include the SimConnect library. Instead, the client will download it the first time you run it.

Please report back if this solves the issue for you.
