Hey Guys!

So randomly my vPilot just quit working, so after trying to run it over and over I just went for the re-install now during that process this error pops up:

I have tried re-installing, emptying config file, running as admin, yet still nothing has got through

Any solution?

Best guess is that vPilot is still running in the background. Have a look in Task Manager and kill the process if it's still there.

Unfortunately Already tried that method

, if I choose to ignore the error it just installs normally. However, It says that the actual .exe file is missing

Are you installing as an Administrator?

Makes sense that if you tell it to ignore an error writing vPilot.exe, it then won't be able to find the exe later when you run the shortcut.

I'm afraid I don't know why your system won't let you write the exe.

Does this problem occur after a reboot? In other words, reboot your system, and then immediately try running the vPilot installer.

Yea I Re-booted and went directly into installation yet still same problem, perhaps safe mode?

Are you able to install an older version? Try this one:

https://vpilot.metacraft.com/Assets/Files/Installers/vPilot-Setup-2.6.5.exe

Just tried, same error. This is the message after aborting

Try 2.5.2:

https://vpilot.metacraft.com/Assets/Files/Installers/vPilot-Setup-2.5.2.exe

That version does not support MSFS, this is just a test to see if the contents of the installer have anything to do with the issue you're running into.

Alright I seem to have fixed the issue, my Antivirus was actually deleting the .exe as it installed seeing it as a threat. However, I am now faced with another issue as I am not receiving any RX from ATC or Pilots

One problem after the other it seems 😞
