Position Vacancy - Digital Content / Graphic Designer - VATCAR IT and Web Services Team

The VATCAR IT and Web Services team are currently seeking a Digital Content / Graphic Designer to join the team. This role involves the creation of eye catching content and branding for the VATCAR Division as well as the maintenance and editing of current media content utilised by the VATCAR Division, this is included but not limited to all websites, social media sites and applications. This positions reports into the Information Systems Manager. The duties are not limited to those described below.

Digital Content / Graphic Designer Requirements

- Ability to create branding and content as required by the VATCAR Division.
- Own and have suitable experience with preferred graphic design software.
- Ability to assist with the front-end development of Word Press websites.
- Minimum of Student 2 (S2) Rating 
- 1 year of active experience on the VATSIM Network in good standing
- Candidate will be required to transfer to the VATCAR Division if not already a VATCAR home controller. 
- Ability to work within a team as well as individually on projects.
- Be able to work to set deadlines.

Digital Content / Designer Duties

- Work on Digital Content and Graphics for the VATCAR Division.
- Respond to requests from VATCAR staff for graphic design content and media.
- Assist with the front-end maintenance of the existing web services utilised by the VATCAR division.
- Attend periodic project meetings relating to projects being worked on.
- Reports to the Information Systems Manager
