Dumb Question - Should I be seeing VATSIM traffic in MSFS/2020?

Please point me to a sticky, if this has already been covered.

I am back into VATSIM after a several-year hiatus, all while waiting to invest time/money with MSFS. ATC works great, and similar enough to what I remember when using vPilot with FSX. Oddly enough, I don't see any of the actual traffic. None. Is this because of model matching, or am I missing something? Just flying into a very, very busy LSZH, the only aircraft were static (or what I assumed was static, as nothing was moving). I have AI Traffic set to 'OFF', in MSFS, for whatever that matters.
