Tom Harrison Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:00 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:00 AM Hey guys, I was trying to open vPilot today and it didn't open no matter what I tried. It worked fine yesterday. I have installed vPilot and ran the setup plenty of times and disabled all my Windows Defender stuff. The app is on my desktop and appdata it just doesn't want to open. I appreciate all feedback I can get. Thanks, Tom

Ross Carlson Posted September 19, 2020 at 04:57 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 04:57 AM Have a look in Task Manager to see if it's running. Also check the Windows Event Viewer to see if new error events are generated when you launch vPilot. Tom Harrison Posted September 19, 2020 at 05:11 AM Author Posted September 19, 2020 at 05:11 AM (edited) Hey Ross, I did what you said and nothing is running in task manager and no errors in component services. That is the error message I get when I try to reinstall maybe its that? Edited September 19, 2020 at 05:22 AM by Tom Harrison
Ross Carlson Posted September 19, 2020 at 02:40 PM Posted September 19, 2020 at 02:40 PM That error usually means that app is already running. Try a reboot, and immediately after the reboot, try running the installer. Do not try running vPilot ... only run the installer, and see if that error occurs still.
