Deliveries are slated to being in late October 2020 to coincide with the opening of the second Cloud9 hub in Washington D.C. (IAD). In a statement provided by Cloud9 management, Cloud9 said; "With the fuel efficiency and extra capacity of the A320neo, we hope to be very competitive with our new transcontinental routes from D.C. to Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Francisco. With business travel as slow as it is with COVID-19, we believe that travelers will appreciate our spacious cabin featuring the most legroom in economy of any other domestic U.S. airline as well as our free onboard Wi-Fi."
