The VATSIM traffic count for the airports is rising constantly, the spacing between the planes is reducing and more and more aircraft are crowding on the apron. But the regional group Munich has the opinion: there is even space for more!
14 controllers, 6 hours ATC service, one airport and only one target: pure overload!
Therefore we invite you on the 24th of October to the Munich Overload. In the period from 1500z until 2100z we provide you maximum ATC Service for the major airport of the Bavarian state's capital city.
Your task in this could hardly be easier: go get your most beloved aircraft and chose the Franz Josef Strauß airport (ICAO: EDDM) as departure or arrival for your flight in above mentioned time frame. Actually... why not doing both? With the Overload the airport is meant to experience traffic numbers as never before on VATSIM. If you chose an A380 or a Cessna 172 for your task is completley up to you - we provide excellent service for all aircraft types!
So get involved and be a part of our Overload premier: crowd the aprons with your airliners, fill up our control zone with your sheet metal planes and make our controllers sweat like never before!
We are looking forward to hear you on frequency:
... servus, München - identified!

Unfortunately until now, there is no freeware scenery, that contains the new general aviation apron.
