Posting an event? READ THIS FIRST!

In this forum you will find information about unofficial events and group flights from all around the globe!

NOTE: If you are an Events Coordinator or marketing representative from a VATSIM Region, Divison or subdivision, you shall only post events through the myVATSIM platform. If you haven't yet got the permissions to do so, contact your vACC Director. Events posted here will not be promoted by VATSIM.

For our official and unofficial partners, you are more than welcome to post here! When doing so, please make sure you adhere to our technical requirements below. 

 

Forum post specifications:

• Events must include the following information in the forum post:
  • Event Name
  • Start Time  (in Zulu)
  • End Time  (in Zulu)
  • Event Banner- with the below requirements
  • Description - A description of your event to include items such as airport briefings, preferred routes, links to freeware or payware scenery, and generally any additional information that a pilot should know when participating in your event.

 

Event banner specifications:

• The event banner should ideally be in a 16:9 format.
  Examples of 16:9 ratios:
  • 1280x720px
  • 1600x900px
  • 1920x1080px
  • 2560x1440px
     
• It is recommended to include all relevant information in your banner, for example:
  • Event Name
  • Zulu Date
  • Start and end time (in Zulu)
  • Focus airports
  • Routes
  • Etc ...

Please note: if you opt to use the VATSIM logo in your banner, ensure you follow our brand guidelines.
