Dear all, This year LOTv.a. will celebrate its 20th anniversary! As CEO I would like to invite you all to celebrate this occasion with the whole of our virtual airline. According to our founders, LOT v.a has been around and functioning since the year 2000. It’s one of the older, if not the oldest virtual airline operating on the VATSIM network. The airline used to operate on the SATCO network until July 2001, when it was transformed into what we now know as VATSIM. Our founder and simultaneously the first CEO of LOT v.a. was Michał Przybysz. The LOT v.a group was created and run by many amazing individuals. Amongst them: Adam Łagoda, Mariusz Czarnecki, Marek Fronczek, Tomasz Wydrzyński, Grzegorz Gierczak, Patryk Mytych, Sławomir Domański, Jacek Dąbrowski and many others who I won’t remember, but our airline will! LOT v.a. has always taken pride in its highest standards of operations and will continue to do so in years to come! That is why our custom recruitment program is set out to pick the best virtual pilots out there. Our event will begin on the 7th of November and will simultaneously take place with Independence Day, organised by PL-VACC. We hope that you’ll be able to join us in our Polish FIR from the early morning up until the late hours of the evening. Of course, our flying will be closely monitored by a team of professional and experienced controllers. On behalf of our community I would like to thank our VACC for yet again taking their time and supporting such an event. Finally, we hope to see you in your cockpits on the 7th of November from 0400-2300Z, helping us to celebrate this special occasion!
