Hi,

Some strange crashes coming up after one ours fly when choosing to fly with A380 from Peters Aircraft LLC

I have tried there's support, due to that crashes is related to A380, and never have shown on B738 (standard x-plane)

HERE is the answer:

2 - Our aircraft plugins are on the market long before Xpilot appeared. They are properly coded and tested by professionell programmers and never caused any issue with other add-ons. When xsquawbox appeared many years ago, they also had severe conflicts with 3rd party aircraft, including ours. They learned their lesson and improved their codes. This is what Xpilot needs now. Xpilot definitely causes the crashes of your system, not our aircraft. We see no reason to take any action.

On different test I can confirm that FlyWithLua (FWL) seams to be involved, because if I shut down FWL after  a take off, the crash will not show up.

It seam to be possible that the FlyWithLua – scrip for xpilot FPS-problem who course the problem (who not show up with other airplanes)

However – instead  auto “log off” kick you out from VATSIM when fps drops – as it will (EGLL to ESSA) near AAL and there after around + north of, ESGG, until descend to FL 300, or below. (I hate this new "kick out"- function - it is not related to a good idea )

I hope someone can take action of this problem - however it seams to be at least tree different supplier who could be involved in a sulution.

and I cant find a solution by myself, who create an acceptable solution to fly with.

Best regards
Göran

P.S. have GTX 1080 Aero graphic Card - and it is fast enough for 4 monitor, where 3 is used for 3D-cockpit view.

pls let me know if I should send in any logs or perhaps my FWL-folder.

Are you talking about "Peter Hager" as developer of the A380? It's a pretty poor product and his claims that his products are "properly coded" is an insult, as almost nothing works on these aircraft. Sadly.

I have no opinion yet on this substance

PLS tell me who this answer can get closer to a solution?
Because that is what my interest is - and I  playing with "open cards" so all can "see". 🙂 - but only count a solution solving the problem.

Upload your X-Plane log.txt and relevant crash dump files from this crash to a file sharing website (like Google Drive) and make the links publicly accessible and share them here.

The crash dump files will either be a rpt or dmp file, found in the output/crash_reports folder.

Controller (C3), Los Angeles ARTCC
Developer: xPilot, vATIS

NO more job on this, I think.
Today I did try EGLL - ESSA without all "FlyWithLua"-stuff (Peter Harber say it is the reason to crash) and did crash on the way down, also find a lot bugs on A380 so I iagree your opinion on Peters Aircraft - And I also will show (all readers) his latest  answer, who I believe showing why you never shall use any plane from Peters Aircraft LLC

Here is the mail answer I've got from Peters Aircraft LLC - who I believe have much to learn - from his own first e-mail response.

"the response from Xpilot is a dirty and disgusting. This is no accetable way to talk or write about another developer. I have no further comments and want to drop this matter."

Still - My experience is that one should avoid buying their products because they blame others instead of providing support.

HERE IS SOME, OF MANY BUGS.

FMS - Does hang in the "ACT LEGS" window - making you unable to change anything, thereafter. (IE you can not change ATC on VATSIM)

All KNOBS are very difficult to handle - some of them is impossible to change from 3D-views - no knobs are possible to use mouse wheels on.

If you does descend manually - thereafter - you are not able to descend on auto (vertical auto stop working)

My new opinion is that I fully agree with this

Wow, what an interesting "developer". Did he refer to my previous post on this thread when he wrote "the response from Xpilot is a dirty and disgusting. This is no accetable way to talk or write about another developer" ? If yes: Mr Hager: you are selling poor products at a high price. Your products, especially the A380, are well known among seasoned simulator enthusiasts, because they need to be avoided. Maybe he is really trying his best to produce something good, but he does not seem to be capable of doing so and does not realize that he needs help with developing products up to an acceptable level of functionality: this is the year 2020, not 2002!

Any by the way: I am not affiliated with xPlane in any way, I am just a regular member of VATSIM, no developer. And it is absolutely okay to criticize poor products in public as long as no insults are made.
