John Kirkendoll 990215 Posted November 25, 2006 at 09:20 PM Posted November 25, 2006 at 09:20 PM I have read all I can and am still confused I have FSINN 1.2 already installed and have teamspeak, the question is, do I need SB3 or not, or do I just follow the FSINN install directions for VATSIM and is the voice capability in the FSINN? I might also add, I have not been on-line for very long, so this is all kind of new to me, (In other words, be kind to an old soldier) Kirk
Ruth McTighe 824054 Posted November 25, 2006 at 09:36 PM Posted November 25, 2006 at 09:36 PM You only need FSInn 1.2. SB is an alterantive program - you only need one or the other. You don't need TeamSpeak as the voice capability is built into FSInn. Just follow the FSInn install directions. There's a set-up guide in the Pilot Resource Center at www.vatsim.net/prc See you online! John Kirkendoll 990215 Posted November 26, 2006 at 06:01 PM Author Posted November 26, 2006 at 06:01 PM Ruth, Thanks for the input, but one other question. On the setup instructions, it says to pick between roger wilco or avc, do I need either of these for the voice option. Kirk
Ruth McTighe 824054 Posted November 26, 2006 at 08:22 PM Posted November 26, 2006 at 08:22 PM Ruth, Thanks for the input, but one other question. On the setup instructions, it says to pick between roger wilco or avc, do I need either of these for the voice option. You don't need either to connect to VATSIM. They are now only used for pilot-pilot comms e.g. within a VA. I've just been looking at the set-up guide in the PRC and I suspect it may be a little out-of-date.
