Guillermo Snipe Posted November 14, 2020 at 03:08 PM Posted November 14, 2020 at 03:08 PM Hello guys, I've read that when paired with certain addons, XPilot may cause XPlane to crash. I'm facing this issue with the JD A330. Everytime I try to use the DCDU (after loading a FP), XPlane just crashes. I've contacted the JD Support and they told me that it seems to be an issue with XPilot, and that they're open to work with you if needed. Did anyone find a fix for this issue? Thanks in advance, Guillermo

Guillermo Snipe Posted November 14, 2020 at 08:27 PM Author Posted November 14, 2020 at 08:27 PM Sure!https://gist.github.com/guillermosnipe/ce40c832a9fc389caddf868380314811 What I can tell you is that this issue doesn't cause a CTD, XPlane just freezes and then windows tells me that the program stop responding. Justin Shannon Posted November 15, 2020 at 04:34 AM Posted November 15, 2020 at 04:34 AM The log you provided does not indicate that a plugin caused the freeze and crash. You can start by looking for the crash event in the Windows Event Viewer to see what the faulting module is. Guillermo Snipe Posted November 15, 2020 at 10:50 AM Author Posted November 15, 2020 at 10:50 AM (edited) I found it in the event viewer, this is the event log being recorded every time that the error occurs. As a reminder: If I disable XPilot before using the JD A330 CDCU, there is no error. Justin Shannon Posted November 15, 2020 at 06:03 PM Posted November 15, 2020 at 06:03 PM Unfortunately, I can't do anything with this information. I don't have the JD A330, so I can't do any testing.
