Tom Ammitzholt 913725 Posted January 24, 2005 at 01:41 PM Posted January 24, 2005 at 01:41 PM Hello, I hope somebody can help me with this problem. When opening Squakbox I get the following error message: "ICAO.DAT - Critical error. Could not open file". I can proceed using Squakbox, but when I try to open "file flight plan" in SB I get the following message: "You are missing the file: csl_icao.csv. Aircraft will not be shown properly." What is wrong? I have the files csl_icao.csv and icao.dat in my folders! Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you /Tom
Lennart Vedin Posted January 24, 2005 at 02:08 PM Posted January 24, 2005 at 02:08 PM I fixed it, my ICAO.DAT file was in a different place than where it should be, I moved it to my squawkbox folder and I no longer get the message. Use forum Search "icao.dat" or "csl_icao.csv" for more info if needed. / Lennart Vedin /
Warren Garner 921332 Posted January 28, 2005 at 04:21 PM Posted January 28, 2005 at 04:21 PM I have the same problem but my icao.dat file is in the SB folder. I am pretty sure I loaded the problem according to the instructions. I have checked some of the message boards but can't find a solution that works.
