Brad Littlejohn Posted November 29, 2006 at 08:45 PM Posted November 29, 2006 at 08:45 PM I have a question that I didn't seem to find an answer to after RTFMing.. How does VRC Virtual tower handle weather? Obviously, VRC gets its feed from the data servers, but is that weather info p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ed through to FS9 via the MP session? If not, to get the actual weather, would we need to load something like FSMeteo/ActiveSky to get the weather conditions in FS9 that is being reported from the data servers? I ask this because the last time I used VRC Virtual Tower, my skies were clear when the METAR reading for the airport showed IMC conditions. BL. Ross Carlson Posted November 29, 2006 at 09:58 PM Posted November 29, 2006 at 09:58 PM I use ActiveSky ... VRC only creates the MP session and populates it with planes. It does not get involved with weather at all. Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
