Ross Carlson Posted November 30, 2006 at 04:46 PM Posted November 30, 2006 at 04:46 PM They can't. However, you could define another "parking space" just behind each gate parking space, then tell the aircraft to taxi to that parking space, before telling them to taxi to the runway. It won't look right in Tower View, but it'll look right on the scope. Mike Freeman Posted January 8, 2007 at 10:44 AM Posted January 8, 2007 at 10:44 AM I simulated apron taxi lanes in the airport file by creating a taxiway along the route behind gates. This will require you to create quite a few points along the taxiway but it worked great for me. Mike Freeman #quitunicom
Darren Fletcher Posted June 22, 2007 at 11:48 PM Posted June 22, 2007 at 11:48 PM Heres my fix Add more points along the taxi way thet the plane will push back to. Take this example Plane on stand 55 with V taxiway behind it when you issue taxi V as a command it will taxi to the nearest waypoint it sees on the V taxiway. So the answer would be to add a waypoint behind each stand on that taxiway. Job done Yours Darren Fletcher Midland RTSI Vatsim-UK
