There is a freeware, community-driven project which modifies the stock A320 to make it more realistic.  The MCDU in that should behave more-or-less like the real thing.

But, I agree -- there's no "Undo" button.  You'd have to figure out which point or points you skipped over with the Direct, add them back in, and re-Direct yourself to the one you should be going to.

Cheers,

Yeah I know, I already use it. Sadly, I don't think it really changes the MCDU, it's more about the buttons etc. Many Systems like the Autopilot are still pretty broken.

My question about the direct is answered tho, thanks again y'all 🙂

Hey guys,

Is there a way to cancel a direct to a waypoint via the mcdu in the Airbus A320?

My sim is MSFS2020.

Thanks in advance

Best choice is to redraw the route that you was following before insert the direct. For this reason is better plan the route with a flight planner such Simbrief. It can allow you to see all waypoints present in your route.

Sometimes things get complicated. ATC on VATSIM as Milano Radar (LIMM_N_CTR)
