Cody Areno Posted December 17, 2020 at 01:26 AM Posted December 17, 2020 at 01:26 AM (edited) Good evening, I was wondering if anyone had any prior issues with transmitting using the new Bose QCII gaming headset with the PC desktop controller. I'm receiving on vPilot with no issues, but when I attempt to transmit the controllers are hearing nothing but static. I checked the audio settings within vPilot and the headset is selected along with the headset microphone, yet the audio levels for the microphone aren't active at all. Another interesting thing I found is that when I plug the 3.5mm cord into the mic jack and eliminating the PC desktop controller, it is picking up the external microphones for the noise cancellation and not the mic on the boom. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Edited December 17, 2020 at 01:27 AM by Cody Areno
Robert Vanderkam Posted December 17, 2020 at 04:10 AM Posted December 17, 2020 at 04:10 AM I hope you get an answer. I have recently bought a Dell G7 rig and it all works great except it has no working mic function. I only realised it once I started VATSIM because I don't use it for anything else.
