VATWA Divisional Instructor VACANCY

VATWA is in need of a Divisional Instructor to assist training on a divisional level where vACC's require mentors. Please note this is not a staff role as of such however allows you to mentor all vACC's.

Position Duties

·         Mentors students from ALL VATWA's vACCs when required.

·         Assist VATWA3 with small tasks.

·         Examine students on a Divisional Level.

Requirements will be:

·         C1 or C3 rated controller with controlling rights in every vACC.

·         Is in good standing  with VATSIM within the past 2 years.

·         Must be a member of VATSIM West Asia Division.

·         Presently Active in ATC Training within a vACC.

·         Able to spend a minimum of 5 hours or greater on a weekly basis mentoring/examining students from vACCs that require assistance.

·         Maintains an online presence.

·         Demonstrates a great knowledge and understanding of local procedures in all vACC's and VATSIM Policies such as the Code of Conduct/Regulations/Privacy/Safeguarding Minors/GDPR.

·         Demonstrates good communication skills and has the ability to speak and write in English.

Ideal Candidate will be:

·         Previous experience in ATC staff roles and managerial positions are considered as a bonus.

·         I1 OR I3 rated controller or be able to apply for a I1/I3 rating.

·         vACC Examiner.

·         Previous mentoring/ examining experiance (1 year+).

Reports To

•  West Asia Division Training Director (VATWA3) and (vACC Training Directors/Division Directors).
