Hi all,

I have got sbrelay,sb host, squalkbox and that dll that makes it all possible working.

AVC is running (it moans about background nose but that seems a normal thing)

All is well untill I press f12 (i have turn differential braking in fs off) to talk.

A few secs after pressing this to lalk to Approach FS2004 crashes.

AVC still work so I can make my apologies to APP, but that is my flight gone.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Is this the correct forum???

Hey there, Gordon.

Actually this would belong in the pilot software forum. I'm sure one of the admins will move it to there soon.

To resolve your problem, it looks like you have AVC set up to use a key that FS9 has reserved for a specific function. Easiest way to solve this would be to chang ethe key used for Push-to-talk in AVC. I have mine set up (in AVC) to Right-Ctrl. it's non-intrusive on any program unless in use with a key combination. So that will keep clear of anything FS9 uses. Change it to something else, and you're set.

Actually Brad I believe it defaults to F12. That is what mine is set to and I have no problems. Still give it a shot but I think your problem lies elswhere. Posiibly you could experiment with the WAVE settings in AVC itself.

It seems the problem was hostSB.dll in the fs2002 modules folder.

I believe that SB uses fs2002 in the background when running under fs2004.

I have both 2002 and 2004 on my pc, fs2002 had started crashing before I moved to fs2004.

In any event I removed hostSB.dll and now fs2004 does not crash.
