Matthew Kreilein 881422 Posted December 2, 2006 at 12:24 AM Posted December 2, 2006 at 12:24 AM OK, I give up... I can connect to the session and all that just fine, I have SB3 installed and just for good measure, I also installed the VRC VIP pack, but all I get are triangles. here's what i got... C:\Program Files\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\vip has a BUNCH of folders in it named "texture.ABCD" where ABCD is the bunch of stuff C:\PF\FS9\Aircraft\squawkbox has a bunch of [Mod - lovely stuff] in it as well many "model.ABCD" folders and "texture.ABCD" folders as well as a "vip" folder that only has a "default.air", "aircraft.cfg", and "readme" I can't figure out why I can't see real A/C...any suggestions? Ross Carlson Posted December 2, 2006 at 10:20 PM Posted December 2, 2006 at 10:20 PM Do you have the ModelData folder in the VRC program folder, and does it have a bunch of .txt files in it? No, in my VRC folder I have just the folder with my custom sounds, but no other subfolders at all. I follwed the VTV instructions and didn't see anything about that at all. What goes there? Ross Carlson Posted December 3, 2006 at 05:23 AM Posted December 3, 2006 at 05:23 AM You need to reinstall VRC and make sure the checkbox for modeldata is checked. I'm betting you unchecked it thinking it was the modelsets which you already had. The data files (modeldata) are required. The models themselves (the VIP modelsets that come in a separate download) are not required if you have SB3 installed.
