VAT-Spy loading everything slowed down

In the last 24 hours I have witnessed a drastic reduction in loading performance. Just now from desktop it took 45 seconds to "check for updates",  another 45 seconds to "download server list" and another 85 seconds to render the data to the map display (total 2 minutes 55 seconds from initial run command). Also, at random events the refresh loading takes exceptionally long to update. This is occurring with both the beta8 and beta9 versions. I have done re-installs with no change. Assuming it's a data server issue but I am surprised no one else has commented on this. I have searched the net for information on possible Vatsim server data issues but nothing else reported. I'm happy the data eventually works but, I am no longer confident I am receiving the most recent data and rely on Vat-Spy to keep me informed of traffic/ATC when flying in uncontrolled areas. Anyone else notice anything?

**Update** Just now the auto-refresh took 5 minutes to update on it's own.

I am unsure how this made a difference but following a dozen reboots I finally powered down the system; had lunch. When I returned to investigate further following a "cold and dark" startup lol Vat-Spy is back to it's speedy efficient self. I can only conclude that some process in Windows was hindering it's performance. I do not know enough about the inner workings of Windows to solve the mystery but, I learned a humiliating lesson.

Did you happen to open the Task Manager while it was running slowly before? That will show you if any processes are consuming a lot of memory or CPU. Something to check next time.
