Michael Oberg 990957 Posted December 3, 2006 at 08:24 PM Posted December 3, 2006 at 08:24 PM Can someone please help. Believe it or not I just upgraded from fs2002 to 2004 and I am having great difficulty. I have already downloaded SB 3.0 as well. When I start FS2004 I get a message saying "not enough memory, remove some items from the harddrive and try again. And then when I click ok I get an error message "msvcr70.dll" I currently have 31.5GB of available space on my harddrive, I have a 256mb video card and 512mb RAM. thats about 4 times the requirements to run FS2004. I have now downloaded, removed and downloaded FS, 6 times in two days. Please help!
Lennart Vedin Posted December 4, 2006 at 12:04 AM Posted December 4, 2006 at 12:04 AM When FS2004 start at first run, FS2004 does expand a lot of files requiring HD-space. > I get a message saying "not enough memory... Is this message from FS2004 ? >I currently have 31.5GB of available space on my harddrive I this space available at the primary partition C: (i.e. same partition as your Program Files) ? / Lennart Vedin /
Michael Oberg 855611 Posted December 4, 2006 at 12:29 AM Posted December 4, 2006 at 12:29 AM Lennart thanks for your reply, yes I only have the one partition "C" and yes it is FS2004. From uninstalling and reinstalling it so many times in the past two days, it seems that when I install Squawk Box 3.0 is when I have the problems. I not sure why this is, thanks again for any advise you have. mike Michael Oberg
Brian Fuller 973577 Posted December 4, 2006 at 12:40 AM Posted December 4, 2006 at 12:40 AM I know it implies Hard Drive space, but maybe it's referring to your swap file.
Lennart Vedin Posted December 4, 2006 at 04:06 PM Posted December 4, 2006 at 04:06 PM seems that when I install Squawk Box 3.0 is when I have the problems. Did you ever try to run FS2004 offline with SB3 never installed ? If the problem come when install SB3, try run SB3 as an external application from Windows-program-menu and not as a module from FS-menu. Take note that all modules run under FS and all possible fatal program-fail-messages may come from the FS2004 application, no matter if module fail or FS fail. / Lennart Vedin /
