Randy Gotovich 992031 Posted December 13, 2006 at 08:35 PM Posted December 13, 2006 at 08:35 PM Hello everyone, I fly with X-Plane V6.7 and cannot tune my COM to some CTR freqs (i.e. 132.320). I can only tune in increments of .05. Any advice?
Paul O'Donnell 969350 Posted December 13, 2006 at 09:02 PM Posted December 13, 2006 at 09:02 PM Hi Randy, If you take the 0 off the frequency then thats what you enter. Just enter 132.32 in your COM radio. Happy Flying Regards, Paul O'Donnell SINvACC - INS/CTR+ www.sinvacc.net
Randy Gotovich 992031 Posted December 13, 2006 at 10:05 PM Author Posted December 13, 2006 at 10:05 PM I should have been more specific, that's my mistake. I can tune 135.30 OR 135.35(example), but nothing in between, such as 135.32 or 135.34 Is there some command or function of X-Plane that will allow me to do this? Because it wont tune in using the COM knobs...
Paul O'Donnell 969350 Posted December 13, 2006 at 11:38 PM Posted December 13, 2006 at 11:38 PM Hi Randy, I'm sorry I dont use Xplane so I'm not too sure, but what programme are you using to connect to VATSIM? FSInn or Squawkbox? If you use Squawkbox, you can change comm frequencies by typing in the text box field: .com1 xxx.xxx x being the numbers of the frequency. Keith Smith Posted December 14, 2006 at 06:31 AM Posted December 14, 2006 at 06:31 AM You can try hitting RETURN to bring up the xsb window, and type //135.32. That will set your com1 radio. You're running an older version of xplane that doesn't support those frequencies natively. I can't promise the shortcut will work, but it's worth a try.
