Travis Faudree 821145 Posted December 21, 2006 at 11:03 PM Posted December 21, 2006 at 11:03 PM Is there a backup plan in the case of bad weather? If I recall correctly, some ARTCCs that have done VFR events in the past have encouraged participating pilots to not use any internal or external weather programs; just fly with the default "Clear Skies" weather theme. Timothy Boger 942264 Posted December 22, 2006 at 04:36 AM Author Posted December 22, 2006 at 04:36 AM Josh, I have thought of this...we will use real-world weather. 1. If its marginal VFR - adds in another variable to the mix! 2. If there are IFR conditions along the routes, we will have to reschedule and/or cancel. We'll see. Timothy Boger ZMP ATM!
