Stan Eduard Posted April 22, 2021 at 11:41 PM Posted April 22, 2021 at 11:41 PM Hello! I have experienced an issue with xpilot. I submited my flightplan, it says "Flightplan submited", and a controller told me that I need to file a fp in order to fly IFR. I submited it again and still didn`t appear in the database. I think that is has to do with characters limit at route field This is my route (LICZ-LICZ): Quote PIMOR Q72 SODMO RUTOM UN604 ARA UN604 RILIN NEVRA UG33 KOROS UG33 LMO IDILO IXUKO RUTAR MATEL T555 INKOM PESED ROPUT M854 SUGUL ABRAN M860 TUNSA NEVKA BOMKI M854 PERUN 453811N0315421E 455553N0311647E 454839N0305621E 454247N0310038E 453948N0311707E 454635N0312611E 453715N0314954E 444912N0314726E 433724N0330414E 435156N0350124E 440828N0361514E 435235N0375148E 434750N0380459E 434013N0375823E 434944N0374413E 440510N0361613E 435609N0345627E 434333N0330940E 444909N0315252E 453903N0315610E 455740N0311915E 454108N0312233E 453645N0314617E 444951N0314358E 434305N0330523E 440136N0361156E 434707N0374214E 434153N0380519E 435304N0380439E 435110N0374830E 440925N0360858E 434736N0331039E 444649N0314319E 453454N0314200E 460540N0312511E 454843N0311617E 453440N0313445E 444923N0313803E 433638N0325927E 435846N0360818E 434416N0374214E 435555N0380817E 433930N0380817E 435652N0360937E 435056N0331208E 442219N0320348E 453159N0315725E 460342N0311713E 454920N0311050E 445212N0315646E 435328N0324440E 434504N0333909E 435347N0345723E 440432N0354702E 435754N0364900E 435037N0373138E 434833N0381137E 433901N0380938E 434843N0372509E 435730N0362540E 434239N0332801E 434545N0331013E 444232N0315802E 453504N0313815E 455029N0311352E 454628N0310657E 451517N0313229E 434336N0325433E 435203N0340615E 440451N0353742E 435447N0372519E 435210N0381038E BAKRI 434210N0381336E 434142N0374158E 430710N0325940E 454810N0305308E 434109N0330955E 435433N0361124E 434415N0372951E 433929N0374103E 433754N0371627E SUGUL L851 LAGIR ROMOK INKOM N613 RITAG Y195 NESAR BGS T228 IXUKO IDILO LMO UG33 KOROS NEVRA RILIN UN604 RUTOM SODMO DODEL And this is how it looks like: REF
Justin Shannon Posted April 23, 2021 at 12:04 AM Posted April 23, 2021 at 12:04 AM It’s a server limitation, not an xPilot limitation. You can try removing items from the remarks if you have any. Mats Edvin Aaro Posted April 23, 2021 at 01:04 AM Posted April 23, 2021 at 01:04 AM You're likely not gonna get below the character limit either way. That is an insane amount of coordinates. I parsed your route, and I can't really understand what you are trying to achieve here.... But my advice would be to find a way to shorten it. Mats Edvin Aaro Posted April 23, 2021 at 12:33 PM Posted April 23, 2021 at 12:33 PM Oh boy I just realized where that was. @Stan Eduard Unfortunately, you are not allowed to fly that flight on the network, due to its political sensitivity, set forth by VATSIM CoC A13/A17. Michael Krause Posted April 23, 2021 at 02:43 PM Posted April 23, 2021 at 02:43 PM (edited) Hi all, in addition you also wouldn't file it like that in a real flight plan - the STAY indicator is usually used for such "special activities" in a certain area: This doesn't have to be of military nature but also often used to perform air-works on maintenance flights to perform checks in flight etc. Make sure to then also have a STAYINFOn/ in field 18 (Remarks) to indicate what you will be doing there - the n is for the number of the STAY area - so STAYINFO1/ then STAYINFO2/ etc. Cheers Michael Edited April 23, 2021 at 02:48 PM by Michael Krause
