Chris Siems 842028 Posted December 17, 2006 at 08:54 PM Posted December 17, 2006 at 08:54 PM My FSX "Real-World weather" was working before I installed FSInn 1.2. I thought it was FSInn so I uninstalled FSInn using their uninstaller. Restart and all that, load FSX, still cannot connect and download weather. The message in a popup window says: An error occurred while downloading Real-World Weather. Please check your Internet connect and configuration and try again. I haven't conciously changed internet settings, and the FSX weather URI is still WeatherServerAddress=fs2k.zone.com Flight Sim is allowed connections through Windows XP firewall. BUT, a ping of fs2k.zone.com times out! Is anyone else getting this? or is it just me?
Norman Blackburn Posted December 17, 2006 at 09:08 PM Posted December 17, 2006 at 09:08 PM Chris, I read something elsewhere of a major power out and that the thoughts are the fs2k.zone.com server has either been fried or simply not yet restarted.
