Mark Galbraith Posted May 2, 2021 at 06:47 PM Posted May 2, 2021 at 06:47 PM (edited) Currently the screen zoom features use the center of the screen as the center of the zoom operation. This is cumbersome as it requires moving the desired point of interest to the center of the screen to avoid your target from being moved off screen during the zoom in. Many other mapping products will center the zoom on the current position of the cursor. I know many controllers are now used to the way VRC zooms now, so I would like to see a selectable option to enable the center of zoom to be set to either center of screen or position of cursor. As this zoom behavior is already common in VATSpy, and probably other products, the techniques might be easy to import into VRC. As always, please let me know if there are any questions. --Mark Edited May 2, 2021 at 06:59 PM by Mark Galbraith Clarity
Ross Carlson Posted May 3, 2021 at 12:42 AM Posted May 3, 2021 at 12:42 AM Thanks for the suggestion, however, I won't be doing any further development of VRC. Have a look at the following thread for details: Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
