Nick Marinov Posted June 12, 2021 at 01:47 PM Posted June 12, 2021 at 01:47 PM Hi all, It is my great pleasure to announce the reopening of the Bulgarian vACC in VATEUD. Previously, ROvACC have been taking care of the country to guide, teach and share their expertise with fellow Bulgarian members in preparation for the separation of the two. Starting from today, there is a two-week transition period. At the end of it on June the 27th the Bulgarian vACC will be a separate entity within VATEUD. During these two weeks, all members who wish to change their vACC to Bulgaria can do so here: https://members.vateud.net/ All members who wish to remain at their home facility, but continue to have controlling privileges in Bulgaria should get in touch with the local staff to get visiting controller endorsements. At the end of the transition period, the agreement for all Romanian controllers to freely operate on positions within the LBSR FIR will be terminated. The vACC will be starting off with the following staff appointments: Director - Kristian Karagyozov Deputy Director - Genadi Chankov Training Director - Anthony Aslam Deputy Training Director - Nikolay Tonchev Event Director - Svetlin Nikolov Deputy Event Director - Mihail Mihaylov IT Director - Atilla Chakarov You can find the vACC website at this link: https://bgvacc.org/ After this public announcement and throughout the transition period, you may see content on the website being edited to reflect the changes of the status to the vACC. Please join me in welcoming the staff team to their roles and all the vACC members to their new home on VATSIM and wish them good luck in growing and evolving the vACC! 4 NICK MARINOVAssistant to the Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa Supervisor Team Leader [email protected]
