VATSIM West Asia Division is seeking potential candidates for the following position. Membership Director - VATWA5

Position Duties

The following duties are a summarised description of the position which may be limited to the following.

• Welcomes new members into the Division. Sends welcome emails and information to new members of the Division.
• Maintains membership guidance with the Division's membership and assist where possible to needed help.
• Assist Division departments in important announcements and maintain an online presence with the membership.
• Maintains an active presents within the VATWA HQ System and responds to required support tickets accordingly
• Maintains an online presence within communication platforms such as discord and assist membership both local and visitor when required.
• Assist in membership reports when required.

Requirements & Essential Criteria

• Demonstrates a great knowledge and understanding of local policies and VATSIM policies and guidelines.
• Demonstrates a good understanding of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
• Has good communication skills and has the ability to speak and write in English.
• Demonstrates an understanding of problem solving.
• Is approachable and able to assist membership general inquiries in the Division. 
• Is in good standing with VATSIM and has no prior record within the pass 12 months at the time of applying.
• Ideal rating of Senior Student (S3) or higher, Student 2 (S2) can also apply if they are in transition for S3 rating. (VATWA Residents Only)
• Must be a member of VATSIM West Asia Division or is willing to transfer if selected.
• Able to spend a minimum of 5 hours or greater on a weekly basis towards the Division for its membership
• Able to commit to the position for a minimum of 1 year.

• Division Director - VATWA1 & Deputy Division Director - VATWA2

• VATSIM CV detailing past experience current experience such as staff roles, skills and any real world attributes that may help in the role.
• Letter of intention detailing why you want to be the future Membership Director for Division, your plans for the position, any ideas you might have or suggestions that could benefit the Division and the membership.
