Holger Schraepel Posted August 25, 2021 at 01:10 PM Posted August 25, 2021 at 01:10 PM (edited) Hi, I have two users on my system one for P3dv4 and one for MSFS. But both are able to look in the simobjects folder. I want to use the vpilot software only for the MSFS. But vpilot wants to have every time the simobjects from P3dv4. Is there any chance to prevent the vpilot looking into P3dv4. Thank you! Ross Carlson Posted August 25, 2021 at 03:07 PM Posted August 25, 2021 at 03:07 PM No, there is no way to tell vPilot to ignore an installed simulator. Why would you want to? The error you're getting can be solved by entering the model name of a model that you have installed in your P3D installation. Did you remove the default CRJ 700 model? Holger Schraepel Posted August 25, 2021 at 04:15 PM Author Posted August 25, 2021 at 04:15 PM As you can see "entering the model name of a model that you have installed in your P3D installation" did not solved the problem!
Solution Ross Carlson Posted August 25, 2021 at 04:55 PM Solution Posted August 25, 2021 at 04:55 PM That's not the model name, that's a folder name. The model name is in one of the "title=" lines in the aircraft.cfg file. See the vPilot documentation for more details.
