How to acknowledge controllers when operating station is separate from cockpit...........

Hi Vatsim Community

Is there any setting in XPilot where I can get notification of a new controller coming online? My XPilot client is on a separate monitor away from my main cockpit (that is on a separate operator station adjacent to my enclosed cockpit). Understand it is the Pilots role to monitor ATC frequencies, however quite difficult in my setup when I have a dedicated operating station separate to my main sim (fully enclosed cockpit with wrap around monitors x 3).

Be good if I could get some audible text message or something that states when a controller becomes active, so I can make the call...........

Any help greatly appreciated.

Jason

You can open the “Nearby ATC” window within X-Plane via the plugin menu (Plugins > xPilot > Nearby ATC). You can also set a command binding in X-Plane to toggle the display of this window.

Controller (C3), Los Angeles ARTCC
Developer: xPilot, vATIS

Or you can just wait till they send you a ForceATC warning and then you'd know you have to contact them.
