How can a practical evaluation be conducted online (so not sweatbox) without issuing an S1 rating? What about (sub)divisions that use the S1 rating to issue a solo endorsement? Bahaeddine El-Zarif Posted October 9, 2021 at 05:53 AM Posted October 9, 2021 at 05:53 AM I have a relatively similar question regarding that section as follows: In 7.09(d) it says that pretty much all controller ratings need a theory and practical exam, but then in 7.05(c) it says "Award of S1 may be bypassed by division's training program, which would a S2 candidate still need to provide S1-related services......" How is that going to work exactly? It is quite confusing to be honest. So, are we still allowed to have members go from Observer rating to Student 2?
