Flew my 1st 30 minute flight with controllers today, simple VFR, Controller Joseph Pentz out of NYC was awesome!! Patient, informative and really appreciative. Weather turned IMC after takeoff and he even helped me switch to IFR painlessly. Can't wait for another flight and continuing the learning process.
