Julian Diamandis 926992 Posted January 1, 2007 at 01:08 PM Posted January 1, 2007 at 01:08 PM I have heard a lot of great things about the flight models, and the realism that X-Plane can offer. I like flying the PMDG, Level-D, and PSS add-ons for flight Sim 2004. They seem to have a great deal of functionality to them and are joy to use. Also the developers have tuned the flight models for better flying (Allegedly) . Is there something in the same vain to these AC on X-plane? Boeing or Airbus, with complete systems, FMC, etc. thanks Videocard: GTX480 Processor: i7 core Mainboard: Memory: Soundcard: Creative X-Fi Titanium PSU: CAIR 750W CMPSU-750TXUK http://www.youtube.com/user/joolsd

Peter Nolin 954217 Posted January 1, 2007 at 03:01 PM Posted January 1, 2007 at 03:01 PM Actually, as far as I know there is no aircraft (yet) which have a complete setup which he is asking for. There are alot of great aircrafts but since I know what PMDG really offers I understand you wan't a complete FMC. All aircrafts (more or less) offers a rudimentary FMC which are more than enough for the normal user. It offers load/save routes, distances, and uses current navdata. FMC's that does fuelcalculations and other advanced stuff simply doesn't exist yet. There is a new team that is doing this however. I beleive this will be the most realistic "FMC drivven" airliner so far for X-Plane. http://www.eadt.eu/ It shouldn't be that long before it's ready for the public I think. It will probably be totally integrated with a boeing 747 but my guess is that it will be able to use it in any aircraft later on. I think the goodway team is also developing a FMC but I haven't heard from them in a while about this.

I am surprised there are no PMDG/PSS/L-D equivalents already, but should be exciting when X-Plain goes this way. I will stick to my FS2004 for now, probably won't get FSX, for a long long long time. I feel like a lot of FS2004 users, at a bit of a cross road at the moment, with regards to choosing FSX and X-Plane. Luis Felipe Sanchez Nieto Posted January 26, 2007 at 11:39 AM Posted January 26, 2007 at 11:39 AM Hello, The first realistic payware acft is about to be available. It is a Boeing 747, with fully realistic FMC. By using a special plugin this FMC will be usable too for the benedikt strattman's B737 NG Look&download the user manual at http://www.eadt.eu/
