Mikhael Ahmad 994504 Posted January 1, 2007 at 03:59 PM Posted January 1, 2007 at 03:59 PM Hi, Am completely new to this, just wondering if anyone can help me out getting set up on the server. So, at the moment i am using FSX, i have read all the docomeentation on the vatsim site - i.e. "new pilots click here". I read through the software setup sections aswell. I downloaded and installed FSCOPILOT and FSInn. Are there any other programs that are needed? Then what i did was just selected "free flight" in FSX and once it had loaded i selected the tab at the top of the screen "addons" and clicked on openconsole in the FSCOPILOT tab. Went through the set up procedure as instructed on the VATSIM website, the chat console says that i am connected, and am able to see what other users are typing. But when i type anything my id or callsign doesnt come up, dunno how to connect to ATC........ I know i havent given much to go on, but am sersiously stuck....no idea what to do....... Thanks very much.
Matt Chase 974571 Posted January 2, 2007 at 04:39 AM Posted January 2, 2007 at 04:39 AM If you are talking about in the chat box, it doesn't show your callsign, it just says 'local'. You should be connected to ATC when you tune the frequency. Hope that Helps! Matt Chase VATPAC C1 /O
