The FSA now recruiting Staff, please read.

Recommended Posts

Hello There,

I would like to announce the release of a new global flying club, operating on Vatsim, FSAir - also know as the FSA flying club... We have been working on it for a while but it is still not complete - the site is located at : www.fs-air.co.uk it is a club that welcomes all types of pilots flying IFR/VFR, commercially, general aviation ect. Please check it out, hopefully it will be a great success! Here is a opening para about the club...

Hello and welcome to the home of FSAir Flying Club, Also known as "FSA" or "F.S.A". The club is a group of Flight Sim enthusiasts from around the globe who enjoy piloting aircraft of all types. Our members gain access to a large, freindly community & environment, training and help, special events and our regular gatherings - although non club members are always welcome!

We also provide a space for members to communicate with each other (including the great forum), space for users to upload pics and screenshots, and we even have aircraft, utilities and other resources available for download (including lots of support for members along the way), and lots more - you have to see it to believe...

Flight Simulator and Vatsim combined together allow us to go where no real planes can go, and without the expensive costs too! Whilst flying on Flight simulator we use Vatsim to see each others aircraft and communicate at the same time. To add to the realism and environment we have the option to fly under Live Air Traffic Control, provided by the expert team of Vatsim Controllers!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway the purpose of this post was to hopefully recruit some staff for the club, so we have put together a list of roles that we hope to full in the future, its quite a long list so we need to start recruiting now - if you join as staff now you will be seen very specially as you will of been with us right from the start. Obviously the longer the club goes on and grows the more staff posistions we will fill...

Heres just a few of the posistions we are searching to be filled :

* Membership secretary - who will review all applications from people wishing to join the club, this person will decide whether there granted membership or not, so this is a very important role and must be taking seriously... we only require you to check for applciations maybe 2-3 days a week, but additional jobs maybe [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned.

*Events and public relations manager - they will organize all the events for the club and will also be the head of public relations. so you will be very important in keeping the members at the club!

*Web-Team [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istant - this is not absolutly required but if you know a little bit about website design, hmtl ect i dont see why not you shouldnt take this job!

*Forum moderators - this is one of the less demanding jobs but is a absolute neccesary, you just monitor the forum when you can... and keep the peace and keep forum users in line! WE ARE LOOKING FOR 2 OR 3 OF THESE!

THAT IS ABOUT ALL WE NEED AT THE MOMENT BUT THERE ARE STILL MORE ROLES REQUIRED THAT REQUIRE US TO KNOW THE APPLICANT ABIT BETTER, MAYBE YOU WILL START WITH ONE OF THE ABOVE AND PROGRESS THROUGH THE RANKS AS THE RELATIONSHIP GROWS!

They are :

*deputy director

*membership director

*member coordinator

*pilot training

*conflict resolution manager (complaints ect)

*advisors

THESE WILL HOPEFULLY BE FILLED AT A LATER DATE.

Good luck with your flying club, but please don't spam the forums. Your post in the VA forum will be quite sufficient.
