Jay Braam Posted October 29, 2021 at 09:35 PM Posted October 29, 2021 at 09:35 PM Hello, It seems that after a clean install, FSX Steam will connect with Vpilot & squawk Mode C, but when I install the latest FSUIPC, I can no longer Squawk Mode C. I need FSUIPC installed to make use of another program to connect with FSX SE. Above is verified because when I removed FSUPC from FSX SE Vpilot functions correctly again with Mode C. Please advise Regards, Jay

Jay Braam Posted October 30, 2021 at 06:09 PM Author Posted October 30, 2021 at 06:09 PM Carenado FA50. I don't think the issue lies herein, as the version is still the same, and before it worked (or did not actually) by selecting Mode C in Vpilot itself. Is there a vpilot version before 2.8..1 that I can try to see if FSUIPC does work with that version?
Jay Braam Posted October 30, 2021 at 09:26 PM Author Posted October 30, 2021 at 09:26 PM ok, seems that after installing FSUIPC 4.974 I can activate the Mode C in Vpilot, but ATC gets no readings. Another pilot who was coming in also had no Mode C and was using VPilot. The search continues... an older Vpilot version would help to see if that is the problem now

Jay Braam Posted November 1, 2021 at 09:27 PM Author Posted November 1, 2021 at 09:27 PM Third complete reinstall of Windows 10 Pro to be 100 % sure, but verified that when using Vpilot 2.8.1 & FSUIPC 4.976 the Mode C button on the Vpilot client does not work. (Default aircraft also) When using FSUIPC 4.974 it does work. Mentioned it at the Fsuip site too, just giving a heads up. Don't know how.
Ross Carlson Posted November 1, 2021 at 10:59 PM Posted November 1, 2021 at 10:59 PM No idea ... I don't think it's a vPilot issue or else many people would be having this issue.
