Sim audio when transmissions made

Hi there,

On my recent flights i noticed that whenever there was a transmission on the network my sim audio would zone out a little bit and dip to a quieter level.

I've noticed now my flights aren't doing this and im adjusting them manually, Is this level drop a feature? If so does anyone know what i need to do so i can get it back to automatically lowering sim volume when a transmission is made.
