Rainer Jurczyk Posted November 9, 2021 at 11:49 AM Posted November 9, 2021 at 11:49 AM (edited) Hi, still another question: I run vPilot in a networked configuration. On the host (FS-PC) the option "Play incoming messages notification sounds on host" is checked, the message sounds and SELCAL are played on the standard sound output device of the FS-PC. What happens, if I uncheck that option? Is the sound played on the client PC in this case? Is there an option (or would it be possible to implement that as an option) to change the sound output device in this case? THX in advance for help! Ross Carlson Posted November 9, 2021 at 05:30 PM Posted November 9, 2021 at 05:30 PM If you uncheck that option, sounds are simply not played on the host. They are only played on the remote. There is no way to specify which sound device plays notification sounds. They simply play on whatever device you have set as your output device in Windows.
