Welcome to CTL227 - Cross the Land: Westbound 2022!

We're back and earlier than before! Cross the Land is returning for its next edition departing from the Middle East back to Europe!

Dear Chriss,

Thank you for your organizing efforts. Looking forward to the event. I hope you will consider  following the example of the most recent CTP regarding the booking of flights. I've done CTP a number of times and the system of expressions of interest and booking was excellent.

CTL227 - Cross the Land: Westbound 2022: Airport Voting

The CTL team are pleased to announce that voting is open for our Westbound event in February! Pilots this is your time to shine as you get to chose the participants! Like, retweet and tell us who you are voting for! Good luck to all applicants! You may vote for your airports here: ctl.vatsim.net

How do I vote?
Head over to the website and login via VATSIM Connect, once logged in head to the navigation bar at the top. From there click on "Airfield Voting". You will be greeted with a VATEUD Large, Medium, and Small categories followed by a general VATMENA category. Members should put their first, second, and last priority for their EUD & MENA options for each category, each vote at the end of the period will be calculated based on Single Transferable Vote (STV) system.

CTL227 - Cross the Land: Westbound 2022: Airport Bookings Opening Date

Cross the Land is heading Westbound on the 12th of February and will be opening its bookings for pilots to book their slots from the Middle East to Europe.

This edition the planning team will release 620 bookings, with the first slot departing at 09:00 UTC, and the last one departing at 15:05 UTC. Bookings will open on Saturday, 22nd of January 2022 @ 18:00 UTC. This period will last till Friday, 11th February 2022 and will close at 23:59 UTC.

Bookings once released will be available on ctl.vatsim.me.
