Want to lead the front face of the vACC organize the future of events for pilots and controllers and be the eyes and ears of social media platforms? We might have something for you.

VATSIM Pakistan vACC is now seeking candidates for the following position:

Pakistan vACC Events and Marketing Department Director – ACCPAK4

Responsible for: vACC Events, Marketing and Public Relations.


The following duties are a summarized description of the position which may be limited to the following.

  • Organizes promotes and collaborates events on behalf of the vACC.
  • Maintains all approved social media, internal and external platforms.
  • Acts as a spokesperson on an international scale for events and marketing purposes.
  • Collaborates with other vACCs, Divisions and Regions on events through their airspace.

The ideal candidate:

  • Demonstrates a great knowledge and understanding of local policies and VATSIM Policies such as the Code of Conduct/Regulations/Privacy/Safeguarding Minors/GDPR.
  • Has good communication skills and has the ability to speak and write in English.
  • Has good social media organization and planning skills.
  • Has basic knowledge of graphic designing for the purpose of creating banners and marketing content.
  • Is in good standing with VATSIM.
  • Minimum rating of Student 2 (S2) or higher.
  • Must be a member of VATSIM West Asia Division & Pakistan vACC or is willing to transfer if selected.
  • Able to spend a minimum of 5 hours or greater on a weekly basis towards the vACC its membership.
  • Able to commit to the position for a minimum of 1 year.

Reports directly to:

  • Pakistan vACC Director – ACCPAK1
  • Division Events & Marketing Department Staff – VATWA7 & VATWA8

Candidates shall include:

  • Candidates shall include the following information and present a CV based document upon applying.
  • Name, CID, vACC/Division/ARTCC and Email Address.
  • VATSIM CV detailing past experience current experience such as staff roles, skills and any real-world attributes that may help in the role.
  • A portfolio of 3-4 banners/graphic assets in PNG format attached to the CV.
  • Letter of intention detailing why you want to be the future vACC Events & Marketing Director, your plans for the position, any ideas you might have or suggestions that could benefit the vACC and the events department.
