We’re first and foremost a representation of the historical Piedmont Airlines (PAI/PI) which operated from 1948 to 1989. In addition, we include curated selections, or in some cases entire route networks, from other airlines throughout the history of the airline industry. These selections will rotate seasonally, except for Piedmont operations which will always be the foundation of the group. For Winter 2021, our route makeup is: Piedmont mainline, September 1988 AirCal in 1983 Pan Am’s 747-100/200 flights from 1984 TWA Mainline, September 1988 Braniff’s DC-6 flights from 1956 CPAir mainline, 1983 Ansett Australia in 1995 Interflug in 1990 If you'd like to learn more about us, you can read much more at https://www.piedmont-virtual.com/ Additionally, YouTube streamer V1-Simulations graciously did a launch day stream for us and his video showcases many of the resources we have to offer our members and even features a short 'interview' with yours truly giving some background on the VA.
