Sims

Hey, 

 So it’s been a very long time since I’ve been in this world joined in 2005, took a break to start a family and just life. I am interested in getting back into it, however I’m very confused on what sim to start with now. My main sim was FS9, but I know that’s outdated now. 
 

I like FS2020 but I’m noticing theres not many addons for it. My favourite was always PMDG and Level D. I like how far the sim as came default though which draws me to it.

 

My question is what’s the go to for a sim these days, I value stability especially with the vat sim client. I remember with fs9 a few times I’d be in the last half hour of a 10 hour flight and it crashed to desktop which was enough to ruin my mood lol however I’m still leaning to Microsoft. 
 

Also system is no issue, and sorry if this has been asked a lot.

if you want pmdg's, they are only available for p3d currently. eventually they all should be available for msfs but nobody (including pmdg) knows when. they recently revised their release estimate for the 737 to "we have no estimate"

 

p3d can be incredibly stable.  i have been running p3d v5 for over a year now (over 2000 hrs) and have had 1 ctd.
