Greetings to all.

I'm delighted to announce something that has been in the works for the last few months.

VATSIM West Asia Division is happy to announce the launch of our new Logo.

Logo Overview

The new logo showcases the many geographical features of the countries that are a part of the West Asia Division. From the cool blue waters and palm trees of the Maldives that stretch across Sri Lanka and South India to the snow-covered mountain peaks of Nepal and northern Pakistan that border with India this new logo shows it all. Behind all of it we see the sun rise / set with the birds of the subcontinent region soaring high around Bangladesh and Bhutan. Wondering why there is a seaplane? Well, who doesn’t love sea planes? The blue waters around the subcontinent gives it plenty of place to move around.

Acknowledgement

The West Asia Division sincerely thanks member Saurabh Bansal - 1526487 for his work that has helped in turning this concept to reality. His hard work and dedication are highly appreciated.

Transition / Change of Logo

Effective 1 January 2022, the official logo of the VATSIM West Asia Division will be that of the new one which has been showcased on this post.

All official platforms, Documents etc. will be amended to display the new logo at the earliest possible convenience.

Logo Pack

The new logo pack can be found at https://vats.im/wa/logo

Kind Regards,
