Board of Governors Roger Curtiss Posted January 7, 2007 at 01:15 AM Board of Governors Posted January 7, 2007 at 01:15 AM Is it possible to to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign a temp altitude when providing a flight plan clearance? There is no place to insert it in the flight plan and as a non-tracking GND position I got an error message (aircrafrt not found) when trying to F8 it. Krzysztof Szerszen 861225 Posted January 7, 2007 at 01:48 AM Posted January 7, 2007 at 01:48 AM Khm, it's perfectly possible to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign temp altitude if you're logged correctly as a controller (not observer) and the traffic is not tracked by someone else. You don't have to track it yourself, it can have no "owner". So problem might have been you were not logged correctly, or someone was already tracking the target, maybe by mistake. Realistic ultra-intolerant.
Board of Governors Roger Curtiss Posted January 7, 2007 at 05:39 PM Author Board of Governors Posted January 7, 2007 at 05:39 PM I was correctly logged in as a controller and no one else was tracking the aircraft...so given that both of those parameters are in place- how can the temp altitude [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignment be implemented? Krzysztof Szerszen 861225 Posted January 7, 2007 at 06:38 PM Posted January 7, 2007 at 06:38 PM Exactly the way you said, using F8. You can also use right click if you're using VRC 1.1. If you got error message then it's possible you have mispelled a/c callsign, or there was a network problem. Realistic ultra-intolerant.
