Ross Carlson
What is the exact error message? A screenshot would be helpful. Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC

Ross Carlson
Are you trying to run vPilot in split host/remote mode? Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
Rostyslav Moisiiadi
I guess. I am not sure! I just saw some videos and I was just doing step by step! Edited January 20 by Rostyslav Moisiiadi
Ross Carlson
You only need to run vPilot in split host/remote mode if you want to run vPilot on a computer other than the computer where your sim is running. Rostyslav Moisiiadi
So, how do I do this?
Ross Carlson
Is that what you're trying to do? Are you trying to run the main vPilot interface on a separate computer from your flight simulator computer? If so, the instructions are in the documentation. Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
Rostyslav Moisiiadi
No I was doing everything on one pc
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted January 20 Board of Governors Share Posted January 20 Then make sure you're running the correct program. Run just plain old vPilot. DO NOT run vPilot Remote Mode or vPilot Host Mode. Don Desfosse Vice President, Operations

Daniel Mckee
1st thing it appears that you have entered your Vatsim membership number (CID) incorrectly or your password. Probably your password because that is invisible as you type. 2nd thing please post a screenshot of your opening Settings screen (you can do that without starting MSFS2020. On that same page you will see "VATSIM Server" at the bottom that is where you select your best server. However on your above screen shot it appears that you were actually connected so just try again double checking your CID and password.

After successfully passing the exam, your account status will become active, and you may log on.If you are looking for your New Member orientation, please login to my.vatsim.net and click on the link that is shown immediately after login.
