Overview
West Africa (ACCWAF) is advertising for the position of Operations Manager. This role involves taking responsibility for all the technical aspects of Air Traffic Control operations as listed below:

• Develop and maintain vACC sector files  in conjunction with AeroNav's Global Navigation Generator.
• Develop and maintain vACC vATIS configuration files.
• Maintain Squawk Code ranges and frequencies for the vACC.
• Maintain vACC Letters of Agreement
• Develop and maintain a list of sceneries list for the vACC
• Ongoing communications and consultation with vACC management team including constructive involvement in the ongoing development of the vACC.

Requirements

The essential requirements for this position are:

• Be an active member of VATSIM with no serious membership issues within the previous year.
• Be a member of ACCWAF or be eligible to transfer which must take place upon appointment.
• Comply with the VATSSA Staff Policy, found at vatssa.com.
• Hold a S3 controller rating, or higher.

The following would be advantageous to your application:

• Previous experience with Euroscope sector files and GNG
• Previous experience in other technical or development roles in VATSIM.
